IFEC

IFEC ingegneria SA is a consulting company which operates in the fields of energy, the physics of construction, acoustics, and applied environmental sciences. It is an innovative, multidisciplinary business which employs a team of 80 engineers, architects, and physicists.



U STORY

Creativity meets rationality. Stemming from the desire to celebrate a journey of corporate fusion, IFEC Day was born, an emotional day of surprises which represented a new start, aimed at strengthening the feelings of belonging to a group and being a part of the company.
The results amply surpassed expectations, and a steady collaboration with IFEC has since been established, leading us to completely redefine the brand communication strategy.

Corporate Day

From event planning to the creation of video and book mementos.

The theme of the project was to organize a corporate day. Our proposal became IFEC Day, a day that was designed exclusively to celebrate the new group. We hosted a series of activities, from team building with special guests to sharing emotional experiences together. The idea revolved around a group traveling together towards unknown destinations and using their senses while experiencing activities. This concept hit the target squarely and created just the right mood for a growing company.

While we experience it, it remains imperceptible, as it should. There is an idea which guides us through this journey designed to offer the group an engaging and aggregating experience. The creative experience interprets the objectives shared with IFEC, to reinforce a feeling of belonging, consolidate corporate values, and reward the team for years of excellent work.

 
 
 

This team building event offered and united engaging, playful, and instructive activities and transformed them into shared experiences. A special day was built during which something special was created: the awareness of a group and its strength.

Masterchef for a Day

A true Masterchef, Stefano Callegaro, led the challenge along with a well-known food critic, Valerio Massimo Visintin. Together, they awarded the winners of a stovetop challenge.

A Dark Path

The hand and voice of a special, visually impaired guide led participants through the total darkness to discover themselves while trusting others.

Dinner Event and Awards

Throughout the day, IFEC associates dedicated themselves to different group activities.

Participants played and grew together, spurring competition between carefully constructed groups during the different activities in order to win IFEC Day Awards. Prizes were awarded on the Zelig stage and winners wore medals around their necks while enjoying the hearty applause of a united group.

The dinner was part of the entertainment, with the tables placed in the parterre and TV comedian Beppe Braida taking the stage for a show entirely dedicated to the company.

Video and Book Event

IFEC Day is an experiential initiative that makes a strong communicative impression. It was strategically planned to combine aspects of corporate culture and internal communication, with meticulous care taken to customize every single detail. All materials were custom created: invitations, brochures, menus, uniforms, gadgets…

For the entire time participants felt like they were in a film, surrounded by cameramen and photographers who discretely captured images which we then used to make a documentary video and book dedicated to the company and to the day itself. These were given to all collaborators for Christmas. In this way, IFEC Day entered the group memory and the libraries of the engineers.

 

IFEC Rebranding

IFEC Day paved the way for an important journey of evolution of corporate communication, broadening their horizons and inspiring a stylistic change. This led us to study and redefine the company’s strategic planning for communication.

The first step towards the total rebranding of IFEC began with redesigning the corporate identity and repositioning it according to the company’s new multidisciplinary approach. This led to activities aimed at adding value and qualifying the brand through the development of a new visual identity, as well as the complete restyling of the corporate image.

Corporate identity

By following the strategic communications plan we defined, the manifestation of the corporate identity becomes a reflection of the careful interpretation of the new brand’s approach, including all visual expressions, thereby determining the guidelines for how to implement and use the logo.

The concept is based on colors which highlight the new multidisciplinary edge of IFEC. This is the visual focus that extends to all traditional printed materials, as well as digital, both static and dynamic.

Content strategy

The multidisciplinary approach which distinguishes all of IFEC’s work, along with typical technical jargon from the sector, led us to create a content strategy for drafting written content and to highlight the most relevant information for the different targets.

IFEC was thoroughly engaged and determined to learn in order to transmit each sector through their communication, and to define a coherent and effective content strategy.

 

The chromatic differentiation of the services and well-focused photo shoots helped simplify the organization of the communication and the selection of content according to target throughout all of the company’s content, both print and digital. This added value to the copywriting and highlighted the visual creativity.

Website and Online Communication

The new approach for communication at IFEC and the new design, based upon the Corporate Identity, were the starting point when redesigning the corporate website.

A website is the quintessential digital platform for representing an integrated communication approach. It expresses the official corporate voice and is the first reference point. It is where all necessary preliminary information can be found which is of use for building an interesting business relationship.

The website was logically designed according to the precepts of usability and the user experience, to make all strategically relevant information about the corporate activities and services immediately accessible. Emphasis was placed on the multidisciplinary approach and the strength of the team, thanks to the initial focus on IFEC Day.
